About us
The mining industry is a very fascinating industry with great growth potential. While coal mines are closed on one side in Germany, there is a growing demand for underground mining equipment in many regions of the world. And here we come into play:

OLKO-Maschinentechnik GmbH is a global supplier of shaft conveying and building material technology. We maintain our own design and development departments, provide project management functions and have in-house manufacturing capabilities. At the end of the value chain are assembly and commissioning, as well as the after-sales service, which we map either independently or via our network with partners.

Since 2012, OLKO-Maschinentechnik has been part of the global Thyssen Schachtbau Group, the world’s largest shaft construction company. In this constellation, we are able to deliver complete turnkey systems, a unique selling point in our industry. Within our group, we have a worldwide network of our own subsidiaries, representative offices or partner companies.

In Germany, we maintain two locations as OLKO machine technology. In addition to our headquarters in Olfen, where our production site is located, our competence center for hoistway conveyors in Netphen in Siegerland specializes in international sales, project management and engineering of high-performance machines.
