Founded in 1955, the family-owned company develops and manufactures sun protection solutions and the corresponding control systems with more than 3,400 employees at various locations. Now in its second generation, WAREMA is the leading SonnenLichtManager and emphasizes this position again and again with new, promising and intelligent solutions.

WAREMA Sonnenschutztechnik GmbH is a subsidiary of WAREMA Renkhoff SE. At its location in Limbach-Oberfrohna, Saxony, the company has been producing interior sun protection products, such as blinds, roller blinds and panel curtains, for 20 years. Just as at the headquarters in Marktheidenfeld in Franconia, exterior blinds and external venetian blinds are also manufactured. More than 350 people work every day in Limbach-Oberfrohna on the success of the family business.

An important success factor of the company are the employees. That is why WAREMA pays great attention to personal and professional education and further development. The family business attaches particular importance to measures to improve the reconciliation of work and family life.

WAREMA is growing steadily and is internationally successful – in the 2012 financial year with an annual turnover of 372 million euros.
