HYDROPNEU GmbH has been based in Ostfildern near Stuttgart since its foundation in 1958. Initially, the company produced both hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Already since the 1960s it has been concentrating almost exclusively on hydraulics. In the meantime, it has expanded its range of hydraulic cylinders to include hydraulic controls, units and complete solutions from project planning to production and maintenance.

HYDROPNEU is a locally rooted, tradition-conscious company committed to Germany as a location. Its quality management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008. This certificate certifies the company the quality standard to which the company feels committed according to its new corporate mission statement. Accordingly, the behavior of all employees is characterized by the common goal of satisfying their customers permanently and comprehensively. Quality awareness is of central importance.

In this sense, the in-house structures and processes are tightly and efficiently organized and geared to producing only quality workmanship products of high quality. These are robust, durable, reliable and easy to maintain. They are used throughout the entire range of mechanical engineering and beyond, from medical technology to power plant equipment. The main focus is on the foundry sector, as well as in the fields of machine tools, paper processing, power plants and packaging machines.

Almost all car manufacturers have approved the HYDROPNEU cylinders and units for their production because of their high quality.

The company particularly benefits from its in-house know-how acquired over many years. It is mainly used in the design and manufacture of custom cylinders and in the development of complete hydraulic systems. HYDROPNEU can draw on a wide range of proven solutions in both areas.
