Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) is the world-leading manufacturer of on-load tap-changers for power transformers. The product range of MR comprises on-load tap-changers for rated through-currents from 200 to 4500 A and for insulation to ground up to Um = 420 kV and off-circuit tap-changers for 300 to 3000 A.
A second production line covers accessorial equipment such as motor drive units, electronic (microprocessor-controlled) voltage regulating systems, supervisory equipment, stationary oil filter units and OLTC-monitoring systems.
