PrintoLUX® – on the way to the industry standard
New standards only develop if the old has served its purpose and the new one works better without “ifs and buts”. For industrial labeling, this means above all process simplification. And this award may claim PrintoLUX® for itself. It is versatile (different sign materials, outside and inside the cabinet, standard software) and overcomes traditional methods such as screen printing, mechanical or laser engraving in terms of variety, quality and cost.

Digitization as the core of change

The technical core of this development is defined by digitization. She has already changed many areas of work. The classic offset printing and photography are among the best known. Now digitization has also reached industrial labeling; with sometimes dramatic consequences for an innovation-resistant labeling industry. Traditional craftsmanship in many areas is replaced by software. Thus, the actual production of license plate only requires a fraction of the time.

The digital print-based PrintoLUX® process has set new standards for the production of industrially applied markings. Savings of more than 50 percent are not uncommon compared to conventional processes such as engraving or screen printing.
