Hackforth Holding GmbH & Co. KG is the management company of the VULKAN Group, consisting of the worldwide VULKAN subsidiaries, VULKAN Clutch and Transmission Construction and VULKAN Lokring Pipe Connections. The parent company of the group is located in Herne, Germany.

The VULKAN Group is organized on a divisional basis due to its diversified business portfolio and consists of the three divisions VULKAN Couplings, VULKAN Drive Tech and VULKAN Lokring. VULKAN clutch and gearbox construction includes the VULKAN Couplings divisions (highly flexible couplings, bearings, dampers, marine and stationary power shafts) and VULKAN Drive Tech (highly flexible couplings, dampers, brakes for industrial drives). VULKAN Lokring Rohrverbindungen is a specialist for solderless pipe connections in the field of refrigeration / air conditioning technology.

The 125-year-old company is owned solely by the Hackforth family and employs around 1,200 people at 20 locations worldwide, including five production sites in Germany, Brazil, USA, China and India.
