About us
ibidi is a leading provider of functional cell-based assays and products for cell microscopy. The portfolio includes solutions for classical cell culture as well as for complex assays such as angiogenesis, chemotaxis, wound healing or simulation of blood vessels in flow experiments.

In addition to the μ-slides, -dishes and -plates, the product range also includes devices such as microscope stage heaters for living cell microscopy and a perfusion system for the examination of cells under flow conditions. The proven actin marker LifeAct makes it possible to observe the development and movement of actin structures in living cells. All ibidi products are optimized for microscopic requirements.

Over 4,000 publications document the successful use of ibidi’s technologies. The ibidi headquarters including all product development and production is located in Martinsried near Munich. The ibidi office in the USA and distribution partners in more than 40 countries support the worldwide sales and support network.

In March 2013, ibidi GmbH was awarded the prestigious “Innovation Prize of the German Economy” for its pioneering solutions in cell microscopy.
