SAE Schaltanlagenbau Erfurt has been a service provider in the field of switchgear and control system construction, control cabinet and enclosure construction for more than 60 years. Strategically well located, on the junction of the A4 and A71 at the junction Erfurt, 30,000 m² of production space with approx. 210 employees are mainly used to manufacture machine and plant control systems as individual or series control systems.
As a “certified switch cabinet builder according to UL 508A” SAE has been a competent partner for projects in the North American and Canadian area for many years. Cabinets are designed, built and approved according to UL508A for a wide variety of industries. (Logo UL, cUL)
The successful combination of engineering, switchgear construction and control cabinet enclosure manufacturing with integrated powder coating have made SAE a valuable and reliable partner for customers of various industries for many years. The three AAA (delivery, unpacking, connecting) already offer many customers a high added value, because SAE reduces subsequent modifications and external wiring to a minimum, thereby saving time and money when integrating into the machine or commissioning. Especially the individual external cables, completely cut to length and assembled and tested, offer the end customer a connection-ready control cabinet.
In housing construction, cabinets and enclosures in standard and special designs made of steel or stainless steel are manufactured according to customer requirements. After an individual surface coating, these are then expanded to approx. 20,000 m² in switch cabinet construction or, on request, also only delivered as an empty housing. Again, the added value should be in the immediate use, without costly installation, modification or individual color aftertreatment.
