Acal BFi, a private company founded in 1959, is a pan-European value added distributor and specialist in electronic and optical components. By focusing on selected key markets, customers benefit from in-depth expertise. Acal BFi, formed as a result of the merger of the two companies BFi OPTiLAS and Acal Technology in 2009, was strengthened in 2011 by the merger with the company CompoTRON, supplier of high frequency and fiber optic components, in these markets. The expanded product range and mature team enable us to support our customers even more intensively in the development and manufacturing phases of their products.

Technology expertise is a top priority at Acal BFi. Our customers receive intensive support from application-oriented engineers, customer-specific solutions and tailor-made logistics – from project start to series production. We see ourselves as a competent partner in all development and production phases. Each product group is responsible for a specialized sales team. Intensive training always keeps sales engineers up-to-date with the latest technologies and products, and provides support at the manufacturer’s level.

We pay special attention to the customer-specific design: Thanks to our detailed application knowledge in the most diverse business areas, we can respond quickly to design changes or new requirements and assist our customers with application development and product quality assurance.
