HOLMER Maschinenbau GmbH has its headquarters in Eggmühl near Regensburg. We are the world market leader in self-propelled sugar beet harvesters. With subsidiaries in France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey and the USA as well as a representative office in China, the HOLMER team consists of more than 400 employees.
As a medium-sized mechanical engineering company, we develop, build, distribute and supervise our technologically leading agricultural machinery with great passion.
Founded in 1969, HOLMER Maschinenbau GmbH developed the first 6-row self-propelled sugar beet harvester in 1974 – a milestone in agricultural technology. Since then, the HOLMER machines have been successful to customers in over 45 countries around the world.
More than 3,800 sugar beet harvesters have already left the factory halls in Eggmühl, and the current Terra Dos T4 model has won awards including “Machine of the Year 2014” and “Machine of the Year 2016”. The Terra Dos T4 also holds the world record in Beetroot. With the beet cleaning loader Terra Felis, HOLMER positions itself as a fullliner in the field of sugar beet harvesting and loading technology. In addition, the Terra Variant sets new standards as the world’s most powerful carrier vehicle, especially in the area of direct manure introduction.
