The Employers’ Association for Chemicals and Allied Industries for the State of Hesse e.V. (HessenChemie) is an amalgamation of 310 companies in the chemical and plastics processing industry as well as a number of industry-related service companies. In these are 105,000 people employed. HessenChemie supports its members in all questions of tariff, social and legal policy.

HessenChemie is one of the 11 chemical employers’ organizations in Germany. The umbrella organization is the Federal Employers Association Chemistry (BAVC).
