About us
Your partner for a high quality pipe renovation
The most commonly used method in trenchless sewer rehabilitation is the repair using a hose liner. Since its market launch in the early nineties, glass fiber pipe liners in Germany have achieved a market share of currently approx. 70% compared to polyester needle felt hose liners. As one of the leading manufacturers of fiberglass hose liners, iMPREG GmbH produces approx. 300 km of iMPREGLiner annually, with which damaged sewers are rehabilitated worldwide.
After the company was founded in Wetzlar, Hesse in the year 1999, and moved to the Swabian town of Deckenpfronn in 2001, we initially specialized in the production of the hose-line for thermal curing by means of steam. However, early on we recognized the trend of the market and in addition developed a tube liner for UV curing, which was launched in 2002.
In the meantime, UV technology has established itself as the most important curing method for glass fiber tubular liners. In Europe alone, we now work with approximately 50 refurbishment companies that offer sewer rehabilitation using iMPREGLiner and UV curing. Due to the continued positive business development, after our relocation to the current location Ammerbuch in 2006 and the associated doubling of our production area in 2011, a further expansion of the area by 2,500 m² was necessary.
