For more than 145 years, VAG fittings have been found everywhere where water is extracted, processed, stored and distributed. We move water – and water moves us. Because it is the most important resource of humanity. Even today, drinking water is worth more than gasoline in some regions of the world. Energy is gained from hydropower. Hot countries are getting drier and others are sinking into water. What is needed is modern water management.

Without VAG today’s water management and wastewater technology would be unthinkable. VAG has set standards with products such as the BETA® gate valve. Today, VAG fittings are found practically everywhere – in the extraction of water in dams, treatment in waterworks, supply in drinking water networks and wastewater treatment. The VAG Group develops tailor-made solutions for your customers – for example, the fire water supply at Frankfurt Airport, the transport of desalinated seawater through the desert in Oman or mine water treatment in the Czech mining industry.

A supply network without large pressure fluctuations minimizes water losses, significantly increases the service life of the supply networks and reduces the risk of pipe bursts. As a side effect, VAG customers can also save large amounts of drinking water with VAG Druckmanagement. This economical combination of bleed valve and non-return valve protects valves, pumps and piping from uncontrolled pressure surges.
