Spiess-Urania Chemicals GmbH located in Hamburg is focused on the production, marketing and registration of copper chemicals and supplies a wide range of industries with special products. At our production site in Hamburg, we produce copper-based active ingredients as well as ready-to-use products.
Beside Cuprous Oxide, Red for antifouling paints, we supply our customers with Basic Copper Carbonate for the wood preservative industry and as feed additive in animal nutrition, as well as Copper Hydroxide for the wood preservative industry, for galvanization and many other chemical applications.
In agriculture, copper salts, used as protective fungicides and bactericides are of great importance. Spiess-Urania Chemicals GmbH produces the active ingredients Copper Hydroxide and Copper Oxychloride for use in the agricultural sector. These two copper salts are the basis for our ready-to-use plant protection products, which have been proven in practice for many years.
The copper products of Spiess-Urania Chemicals GmbH are marketed in more than 60 countries around the world. With our products, we serve the protection of materials, promote sustainability and increase food safety.
