About us
Our company was founded in October 1970 as a trading company – by Claus Pohle and Peter Sakewitz in Buchholz in der Heide. After moving to Zarrentin am Schaalsee (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) in October 1995, we started in mid-1996 to produce our own VARIOVAC vacuum packaging machines with 19 employees. In the meantime, over 100 employees develop, design, produce, sell and “service” these technically very high-quality thermoforming machines, which are still packed in more than 50 countries, mainly meat, sausage and cheese. Subsidiaries in Poland, England and Denmark as well as well-trained partners organize sales and service in the respective countries. We design packaging and complete lines with our reliable partners.
VARIOVAC packaging machines set themselves apart from the competition with partially patented technical refinements that simplify handling and operation. But we do not just see ourselves as a purely mechanical engineering company, but also see our strength in application technology.
We support our customers in the packaging development of new products, whereby of course our many years of industry experience are of great benefit to us.
With our brand VARIOVAC we focus our own production on
