In recent years, pro-micron GmbH has established itself as one of the technology leaders in the field of wireless sensor technology for monitoring and control tasks. Our innovative, wireless sensor products accompany our well-known customers on their way into the age of Industry 4.0. We develop and manufacture sensor systems for plant and machine construction, the food industry and the aerospace industry.

In the product area “Tool-Control” of force and torque sensors for the metalworking industry we offer measuring systems for analysis and monitoring of machining processes (sensoric tool holder SPIKE & Span-in-Spindle-Detection System SiS). In particular, telemetry technologies with inductive or battery-powered radio systems are used.
In the product areas “ChamberControl” and “FoodAssist”, our passive wireless sensor system based on SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology is used in particular. With the TiP300 wireless temperature measuring system, pro-micron offers a modular system consisting of various SAW sensors and matching antennas, as well as the powerful reader. The wireless temperature sensors can permanently measure temperatures up to 300 ° C without power supply at the measuring point.
In the field of passive strain measurement pro-micron offers the possibility to develop and manufacture SAW measuring systems for specific applications. The basis is also the powerful reader from the TiP300 kit.
The snow load sensor – snowCHECK is a roof load sensor that allows a permanent, continuous monitoring of the roof load of a building. The sensor integrated in the building management system can warn against overload at an early stage, which can be used to initiate suitable measures such as removing the increased roof load or evacuating the building.
