RESOPAL® – that is brand, company and surface, tradition and modernity.
Resopal GmbH produces functional and decorative laminates (HPL) with approx. 600 employees in Groß-Umstadt.

As an employer, we distinguish ourselves through creative freedom, a personal, familiar way of dealing with one another and internationality: there is close cooperation between the six European business units of the parent company Wilsonart International.

We are proud of our 150-year tradition:
The story of Resopal is a model of industrial history.
The beginnings of the company go back to the production of marginal products of the classic textile industry.
With the emergence of new industries, new areas of application offer themselves. The manufacture of insulating materials for the emerging electronics industry is also allowing the company to experiment with synthetic resins, which has made Pioneer the pioneer in plastics technology.
The large-scale industrial production of technical laminates for the electrical industry leads to the invention of decorative laminates for the furniture industry, on which the company finally specializes and which continues to push it with the same pioneering spirit to this day.
