RHEWUM GmbH was founded in 1927 as ‘Rheinische Werkzeug- und Maschinenfabrik’ and is still a family owned company.

For more than 70 years, we have been developing and manufacturing screening machines for the entire field of dry and wet screening as well as vibrating conveyor troughs and systems for optical sorting. Our screening and sorting technology is used by leading companies in various sectors for a wide variety of tasks – worldwide.

Our machines enable a continuous and economical production of precisely defined products in reproducible quality. By using our screening and sorting technology, our customers are always able to offer their products in consistently high quality. The company is conveniently located in Remscheid, a major center of metal processing on the outskirts of the Bergisches Land.

All RHEWUM screening machines are planned, designed and manufactured in Remscheid on their own premises. The close proximity between the design and the production makes it possible to consider customer wishes at any time and to realize them at short notice. All screening machines that leave our house are subjected to an elaborate, thorough functional test to ensure the highest quality.
