VACUUMSCHMELZE (VAC) has become the market leader for magnetic and metallic materials and refined products in almost 100 years. The two business segments Materials & Components and Permanent Magnets develop and supply a wide range of magnetically and physically high-quality products for almost all industries and markets – from renewable energies, shipbuilding and installation technology through the watch industry and medical technology to the automotive and aerospace industries.
With around 800 patents and more than 100 different materials, VACUUMSCHMELZE is one of the world’s most innovative companies in the development and production of high-quality industrial materials that provide answers to questions about miniaturization, increased demands on efficiency and the shortage of resources. At the same time, we are committed to the protection of our environment and the economical use of natural resources.
VAC has sales offices on every continent and production sites in Beijing and Shenyang (China), Pekan (Malaysia), Horna Streda (Slovakia), Ulvila (Finland) and Hanau (Germany).
The annual turnover in 2015 was around 380 million euros.
