BLOCK Transformatoren-Elektronik GmbH is a leading manufacturer of transformers, power supplies, chokes and EMC filters.
Under the direction of Wolfgang Reichelt, an internationally operating company has been created, comprising 38 locations worldwide and 16 own companies in Germany, the USA, China, Belgium, Denmark, France and Great Britain. BLOCK employs a total of about 1,200 employees, more than 700 of them in Germany alone.

In combination with state-of-the-art machines, tools and processes as well as the fulfillment of individual customer requirements, BLOCK sets global standards. Whether mechanical engineering, drive technology, railway technology, medical technology or renewable energies – the standard products and special solutions from BLOCK guarantee optimum voltage and network quality in all sectors of industry and industry.

The special corporate philosophy of BLOCK: from our own basic research and development through production and quality assurance to certification – all BLOCK products are developed in-house, manufactured and tested in our own accredited EMC laboratory. The high production depth includes modern sheet metal production, plastic injection molding, SMD assembly and much more. BLOCK manufactures its own powdered iron cores and also powder coatings, vacuum pressure impregnation and X-ray technology are a matter of course in the company.
Ever since the introduction of blue PCB transformers, everyone in the electronics industry appreciates the reliability and reliability of the BLOCK brand. In addition to the large selection of products from stock, BLOCK also offers rapid customization and redevelopment of the products. Thus, after just three weeks, customer-specific products certified according to international standards can leave the production sites in Verden.

Made in USA: New production site in Chicago

In 2015, BLOCK opened a new production site in Franklin Park, Illinois, USA, in order to expand further in the American market in the future. In this way, US customers can increasingly be supplied flexibly and quickly with high-quality products “Made in the USA”. BLOCK USA, which was founded in 2000, and whose warehouse is also based in the company’s own building in Franklin Park near Chicago, is responsible for the distribution of winding goods and power supplies.
