The CHT Group is a medium-sized global player in specialty chemicals. Since the founding of CHT R. Beitlich GmbH in Tübingen in 1953, the company has developed into a globally active group with a focus on innovative chemicals as function generator, auxiliaries and additives for industrial processes. The products optimize manufacturing processes in numerous industries and influence the functionality, appearance and quality of end products in the consumer market.
At that time, as today, the headquarters and the competence centers of the business units are located at the headquarters of the company, at CHT Germany GmbH (formerly CHT R. Beitlich GmbH) in the university town of Tübingen. The dye range is developed, produced and distributed by the Swiss company CHT Switzerland AG (formerly BEZEMA AG) in Montlingen.
With approximately 2200 employees worldwide in 29 companies and additional commercial representations, the Group provides its products and services in more than 120 countries – on every continent.
By bundling the strengths within the entire corporate group, innovative products, applications or processes are constantly being created. Highly qualified specialists work in top-quality laboratories for development, analysis and application technology to work out ideas and solutions that meet the most modern requirements.

The group of companies is owned by two foundations (Beitlich Families Foundation and Reinhold Beitlich Foundation).
