KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG can look back on more than 170 years of tradition, making it one of the oldest family businesses in Europe. The fortunes of the sawing and storage technology specialist, founded in 1844, have been guiding Armin Stolzer for almost 30 years. He already leads the company in the fifth generation – and has already brought the sixth in the past years to support in the company. Under his leadership, KASTO has become the recognized world market leader in metal sawing machines, semi-automatic and automatic long goods and sheet metal storage systems as well as automatic handling devices for metal bars, sheets and blanks. Every day, new customer-specific solutions Made in Germany are created at the headquarters in Achern and at the production site in Schalkau. But the global player KASTO is not only present in Germany: there are additional service and sales locations in France, the USA, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK.

Its position as the global leader in technology and quantities – in metal sawing machines and automated storage systems is based on around 170 patents and is impressively documented by more than 140,000 sawing machines delivered all over the world and more than 1,900 installed automatic bearings.
