Founded in 1909, RÖHM is today considered to be one of the world’s most important fixture manufacturers with a comprehensive and efficient product range: drill chucks, center points, lathe chucks and vices, robot gripping technology, power chucks, clamping cylinders and mandrels, tool clamping systems and a great deal of special clamping technology. Numerous well-known users in a wide variety of industries have trusted the clamping technology expert for decades.

RÖHM has the right answer for all clamping problems, both in the workpiece and in the tool clamping. For the production of products of the highest standards, all prerequisites are fulfilled already in the customer consultation, over the construction and production up to the service. RÖHM is regarded in the industry as a company that has a decisive influence on the development of the market with its advanced products.
In 2008, after 99 years, the company management was first handed over to an external managing director. Thus, the RÖHM family implements the shareholder resolution to withdraw from the operative business and to shape the fortunes of the long-established company as shareholders and members of the advisory board.

Production is mainly at the two sites Sontheim and Dillingen. Both the manual and the power-operated clamping technology program are produced here. The St. Georgen site is a specialist in the field of mandrels and, in addition to standard mandrels, also offers tailor-made solutions for a wide variety of requirements.
The RÖHM Group has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995 and employs more than 1,500 people worldwide.

The products are distributed through a global network of offices and more than 40 agents worldwide. The export share of German production is about 50 percent.
The factories in Slovakia and India, as well as a new sales office in China are the latest steps to become even better, faster and more efficient, while also showing the company’s clear international orientation.
