WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF XAL
XAL is a leading manufacturer of high-quality luminaires and lighting systems for shop, office, hotel and residential lighting. The headquarters of the company, founded in 1989, is located in Graz, Austria. XAL is not only a passion for lighting – not just as a pioneer in LED technology – but also geographically far: Today, XAL is a global company with around 1,300 employees, its own research, production and distribution facilities in 30 international locations and a partner network extends over five continents. MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to develop lighting solutions that are exceptional in terms of technology and design. Research and development are just as important as first-class know-how in production and logistics. These competencies enable us to respond very flexibly to the requirements of our customers and also to realize tailor-made special solutions in an extremely short time.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We see ourselves as a company as part of a larger entity to which we are committed. We believe that education and training is essential to social success and social cohesion, and for many years have been training an unusually large number of apprentices in many apprenticeship trades who, after completing their training, work almost all in the company. We support social institutions in doing their valuable work. We also attach particular importance to environmental and climate protection: We produce where the majority of our customers are in Europe and the USA. And avoid that goods are transported halfway around the world until they reach the customer. And we decide to invest in the environmentally friendly alternative: for example, our main plant in Graz is mainly heated with pollutant-free geothermal energy. Research and development of the energy efficiency of a lighting system are our top priority.
