About us
The Haimer GmbH is a family-run medium-sized company in the Bavarian Igenhausen near Augsburg. We are the European market leader for high-precision tool holders and world market leaders in the field of balancing and shrinking technology. In addition to a wide range of tool holders in all common interfaces and lengths, solid carbide cutting tools, machines for shrinking and balancing technology, as well as 3D measuring devices, our product portfolio also includes tool presetting devices.
Of the approximately 800 employees worldwide, about 500 work at the production site in Igenhausen with state-of-the-art machinery and a very high level of automation combined with a high level of vertical integration. At the second HAIMER production site in Bielefeld, the HAIMER Microset presetting devices are built with around 50 employees. The experienced, dynamic and highly qualified employees guarantee the HAIMER-known top quality “made by HAIMER”. As an active training company with currently 50 apprentices and a high take-up rate, HAIMER already secures its future potential for skilled workers and makes its contribution to the future of the location.

Despite our intensive export efforts, we continue to produce exclusively at our hometown in Igenhausen as well as at the second location in Bielefeld, relying on the highest precision and quality, true to our philosophy: Quality wins.
