As a global materials technology group, we use our know-how for materials and solutions that are indispensable for everyday life.
We are the world leader in the development of catalytic converters, and chemical companies value our expertise in metal-based catalysts. We realize cobalt and nickel products, develop electroplating solutions and produce germanium-based electro-optical materials for solar cells and LEDs. We are at the forefront of rechargeable battery materials used in electric vehicles and portable electronics. And with our recycling plants, we can extract 20 precious and other non-ferrous metals from more than 200 waste streams.
